SC Codes Greenville Pilot Program Graduates
The SC Codes Greenville pilot program (2016-2018) offered a 12-week Front End Development session to support students in achieving the Free Code Camp Front End Development Certification. Students who completed the 12-week program have shown their commitment to acquiring the skills they need to pursue a career in software development. In Fall 2017 the program transitioned from a two-part track (Front End 1 + Front End 2) to a single 12-week session for the Front End Development Track. The list below includes the year the graduate completed the pilot session and when they have achieved the Free Code Camp Certificate (FCC Cert) – Front End Development or the new Javascript Algorithms and Data Structures (launched by freeCodeCamp in 2018).
All graduates contributed to Code for Greenville‘s Open Data API project. In 2018, a 12-week PHP Track piloted with a group of SC Codes graduates using CodeSchool.com’s PHP and Database Paths (CodeSchool.com is no longer available). The grads who completed the track also built projects with Code for Greenville’s Open Data API.
